Another Race

I’m off to a half-marathon in the mountains today.  The race course goes from Loveland Ski Area to Georgetown, Colorado.  Starts at over 10,000 ft. of elevation, and ends at 8,500 ft.  I have been in a race at 8,500 ft. and I really felt it.  But my friend is going with me, we always have fun in races.  Although she is 26 years old, she has asthma and feels no need for speed.  We will just go and have fun.

It will be nice to feel chilly for a while.  It got up to 104 degrees yesterday, breaking all records.  It is expected to be hotter today?!?!  But it is nice and cool at 10,000 ft.  That’s a certainty.

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear or be in dread of them: for it is the Lord you God who goes with you; he will not fail you or forsake you.  ~~  Deuteronomy 31:6

No certainty in much with the weather, right? Maybe just death and taxes!
